Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day functions
of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, ACVP. This role
focuses on administrative operations, membership support and
committee coordination. This position collaborates with staff and
volunteer members to ensure efficient workflows, consistent
processes, and effective communication. Responsibilities: Assist
Executive Director and Senior Manager, Education with coordination
of Board Meetings, Annual Meeting, annual Examination cycles, and
webinar oversight. Travel to annual client conference and
participate in on-site activities as assigned. Work with designated
committees (Student Engagement, Externship Scholarship, Lifelong
Learning, Website, Awards, Nominations and Media and
Communications) and meet deadlines for assigned projects and tasks.
Support all ACVP committees by facilitating access and use of
Microsoft Teams, maintain committee information in internal
documents and website, and providing volunteer interest reports to
chairs upon request. Support Student Engagement Committee
activities including Excellence in Pathology Award, Mentor of the
Year Award, SAVMA activities, pathology club annual and
post-meeting reports, and annual club awards. Oversee externship
scholarship program including collecting agreements and financial
documentation for disbursements. Oversee membership approvals and
renewals and track metrics. Update and maintain databases and
spreadsheets for various projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree
2-3 years related, professional work experience Professional
association experience a plus Skilled in Microsoft Office; and
manipulating data in Excel Proficient in CRM or database
management. ReMembers and Constant Contact, a plus.

Open to traveling out of state and staying overnight up to twice a
year, using various modes of transportation such as cars, planes,
or trains. Physical: primarily a desk-based role, requiring
extended computer use. Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, and
typing, with visual acuity required for keyboard usage, data
analysis, and computer terminal operation. Occasional light lifting

hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined by relevant
factors, including job-related skills, experience, market data,
work location, and education or training. Location: This is a
hybrid role in Schaumburg, IL. Employees who reside within 50 miles
of the office are expected to work onsite one day per month. At
times, there may be circumstances that require additional visits to
the office. Candidates who live more than 50 miles from the office,
including in and out of IL, may be considered for a remote
opportunity. Out of state applicants may be eligible for hire,
