Job Description:
Clean Harbors, an industry leader in environmental and
industrial services, is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator
for our Environmental Emergency Response team. This role is
critical in providing rapid, safe, and effective response to
environmental emergencies involving hazardous materials. The
Equipment Operator will handle and operate specialized machinery
and equipment used in environmental clean-up projects while
ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory
requirements. Operate and maintain various equipment including
vacuum trucks, high-pressure water blasting equipment, and other
specialty vehicles. Respond to emergency calls for environmental
spills and releases, ensuring rapid and effective response. Manage
on-site emergency response operations, including containment,
clean-up, and disposal of hazardous materials. Coordinate with
project managers and health & safety officers to ensure compliance
with all federal, state, and local regulations. Assist in the
maintenance and repair of equipment and report any malfunctions or
safety issues immediately. Attend mandatory training sessions on
safety protocols, equipment handling, and emergency response
techniques. Ability to operate Class A CDL required vehicles.
Experience with hazardous material handling and emergency response.
Strong mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and
troubleshooting. Excellent communication and coordination skills
for effective teamwork during emergencies. Medical Insurance Dental

HAZWOPER certification (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency
