As a Body Shop Manager, your responsibilities include: The overseeing of day-to-day operations of the body shop Establish and maintain good working relationships with insurance adjusters Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our customers to ensure customer satisfaction Give fair estimates of the cost of parts and time required for body work Direct and schedule the work of our body shop employees, while monitoring the progress and completion of the vehicles in the shop Monitors the maintenance of paint booths, frame straightening equipment, and other large, fixed assets to ensure long-term usage Sustains knowledge of new equipment and tools available to keep our body shop up to date and competitive in the market Maintain high-quality service repairs by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs Understands and maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations including, but not limited to, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-know, and all safety equipment.
