We have a clear three-to-five-year plan to build capability and deliver results using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies. If you enjoy working with others and have a passion for improvement, join our winning team!The SHE Manager works to prevent workplace accidents and promotes health and safety awareness and education among employees. This role is responsible for ensuring employees follow health and safety laws and for creating policies to foster a safer work environment. The person must identify potential workplace hazards and improve existing conditions.

• Support the implementation of SHE and management systems to ensure environmental regulatory compliance and Henkel SHE programs at the Chicago facility.
• Oversee various SHE areas and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform SHE inspections and permitting as required.
• Prioritize safety and health investigations across diverse work areas and assign tasks accordingly.
• Develop and prioritize sampling objectives for industrial hygiene and hearing protection, request budget resources, review sampling strategies and results, and assist in developing strategies and interpreting results as needed.
• Administer Henkel UA Employee Health, Safety, and Environmental management practices under OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
• Manage dispensary services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to address safety and health issues.
• Make recommendations on equipment purchases, engineering controls, workspace planning, and work process improvements.
• Communicate with regulatory authorities as required.
• Serve as an expert safety consultant within the organization.
• Manage emergency situations and advise management accordingly.
• Coordinate safety activities such as emergency and contingency plan drills with local agencies and Henkel personnel.
