Job Description:

*Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health**Horizon Health* is seeking a *Nurse Manager* to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at ThedaCare Regional Center in *Neenah, WI*. This unit is a 19 bed inpatient psych unit. Included in these responsibilities are: 1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development. The *Nurse Manager *will provide supervision to Program Horizon employed clinical and administrative staff.*Responsibilities:* Performs as liaison between Program, Hospital and Horizon; communicating information and needs appropriately Supports Hospital and Horizon missions, goals and objectives Provides leadership and direction in accordance with Hospital guidelines Provides clinical supervision for Program nursing, counseling, patient support and administrative staff Develops, in coordination with assigned VP, Clinical Practice, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the Program In coordination with the Hospital, ensures the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies regulations and standards Participates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patient Supervises all patient care and sets guidelines for accurately reporting and recording of patient symptoms, reactions, and progress Develops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the patients care Recruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the Program. Provides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programs Defines goals and objectives of the treatment program under the direction of hospital administration and Horizon leaders Collaborates with medical and clinical staff in coordinating and managing the medical and psychosocial treatment plans Participates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patient Supervises patient care and set guidelines for accurately reporting and recording Maintain patient privacy Assure quality of care*About Neenah, WI:*Located about 40 miles away from Green Bay, Neenah has many walking paths and parks, many of which are waterfront, which is known for beautiful scenery in the fall and winter seasons.
