• Employment Type: Travel***Varied**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION PAYS BI-WEEKLY (EVERY TWO WEEKS)**Title: Radiologic TechnologistLocation: Manitowoc, WIContract: 13 Week assignmentSchedule:Week On (72 hours total): Work Week A (36 hours): 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm (9 hours) Monday - Thursday WorkWeek B (36 hours): 10:00 am - 10:00 pm (12 hours) Friday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (12 hours) Saturday and SundayWeek Off: Monday through Sunday OFF.Requirements: Other: --- Technologist would be working independently after 4:00 or 5:00 pm. --- Required to do general x-rays for outpatients, inpatients, and ED. --- Expected to work in surgery suite as needed. --- Requested to held/assist the PM and On-Call CT Technologists whenever possible. --- Expected to work any holidays that land on their "7 on" rotation. o They would take call in the morning until they begin their shift on holiday only. o There is no other call requirement for this position.Job Summary: At the direction of a radiologist or other providers prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients visitors and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Other duties as assigned.Special Skills: Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise. Licensure: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. Expereince: One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent - Required An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field - Desired ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer - Required One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
