TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, 54241! Pay Information $2,236 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS, De-escalation training (MOAB or CPI) Must-Have: General ED skill set, chest tubes, drips, IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, cardiac rhythm interpretation Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical center. The unit functions as a Level IV trauma center with a primary stroke designation. It has a total of 69 beds, including 12 in the ED. Patient types range from neonates to geriatrics, with a focus on adults with various illnesses. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:5, with the possibility of 1:6 in rare cases based on patient acuity. The unit provides support staff, including CNAs and a resource nurse. There is no titled Charge RN in the ED, and all RNs will be responsible for performing phlebotomy at the bedside. The hospital employs a hospitalist who is available 24/7. Telemetry monitoring is conducted at the bedside and nursing station without a dedicated tech. The charting system utilized is Epic, along with GE monitors and Alaris Pyxis. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation every other weekend. Time off can typically be approved up to 7 days, considering staffing needs. There is no on-call requirement. Holiday expectations will vary based on departmental needs. Scrub color is flexible, allowing for any color.
