Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description

hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg
Job Details: • Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts from 7:00 AM
to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 48 guaranteed hours per week
with overtime after 48 hours worked • Every other weekend and
holiday rotation required • Float to all inpatient units with
appropriate patient assignments • Can be put on low census call
with 2-hour minimum callback • Must be outside a 50-mile radius of
facility • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS •
Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience with recent hospital experience
required • Trauma Level II experience and prior travel experience
required • Epic EMR experience required • Work with Epic EMR,
Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps • Provide
post-surgical care in 40-bed inpatient unit for pre and
post-surgical adults and geriatric patients • Nurse to patient
ratio: day/pm 1:4-5, nights 1:5-7 • Fast-paced environment
averaging 10-15 admissions per day • Must demonstrate ability to
multitask and prioritize patient care needs • Any color scrubs
acceptable • Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census
unbillable hours • Associate Degree or Certificate required,
