The nurse will provide direct care, manage student health plans, and ensure compliance with medical and educational requirements. /n/nAssigned Schools/n/n /n/t - /n/t Will float between three elementary schools in the district /n/t/n /n/nCaseload/n/n /n/t - /n/t Approximately 150 students with IEPs and/or 504 Plans /n/t/n /n/nResponsibilities/n/n /n/t - /n/t Provide nursing care and first aid /n/t/n/t - /n/t Manage IEP and 504 health accommodations /n/t/n/t - /n/t Administer medications per policy /n/t/n/t - /n/t Maintain health records and conduct screenings /n/t/n/t - /n/t Collaborate with school staff and families /n/t/n/t - /n/t Respond to medical emergencies /n/t/n /n/nRequirements/n/n /n/t - /n/t Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License /n/t/n/t - /n/t PEL – School Nurse /n/t/n/t - /n/t BLS CPR/AED Certification /n/t/n /n/nPreferred/n/n /n/t - /n/t Hearing and Vision Certification /n/t/n /n/n Hiring Timeline: Interviewing and hiring ASAP /n IDR Job ID 483365.
