experience required Description: A Cath Lab Tech position is
available requiring 1 year of experience. Candidates must have an
IL License in hand or be willing to obtain one. Preferred charting
system experience includes Epic. The role demands skills in
temporary pacemaker insertion, cardiac ablation, insertion and
programming of AICDs, accurate monitoring, and cardiac stent
placement. Experience in left heart catheterization, percutaneous
coronary interventions, and percutaneous transluminal coronary
angioplasty is necessary. Candidates should also be proficient in
permanent pacemaker insertion, right heart catheterization, and
angioplasty. Additional skills required include chest tube
placement, embolization, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, and
inferior vena cava filter placement. The position involves
performing liver biopsies, mesenteric angiograms, paracentesis, and
various other procedures. The ideal candidate must be capable of
managing dialysis graft interventions, endovascular interventions,
and upper and lower extremity angiography. Candidates must
demonstrate the ability to maintain a sterile field while acting as
a scrub and room circulator. Current and effective communication
and patient care skills are essential. The unit serves adult and
geriatric patients with a variable daily census. All applicants
must complete required fingerprinting prior to the start date.
Candidates should be prepared to complete necessary lab items in a
timely manner after signing the contract. Requirements Required for
