Pay: $3,040 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Summit - Cardiac Cath Lab About Facility Oconomowoc, WI Level II Trauma Center Primary Stroke Center Beds: 91 General Information Beds: Cath Lab: 2 Hybrid Cath/EP: 1 Experience: Tech: 3-5 years with Cath lab experience First-time traveler: Tech: Yes, only with 5 more years of Cath lab experience in large 200facility Strong Cath Tech; EP experience is preferred Average cases: 1-16/day; dependent on the days of the week Patient Types: Cath: STEMI/NSTEMI; Angioplasty/Angiography, ASD, PFO, right/left heart Cath, thrombectomy EP: Pacemakers, generator changes, loop recorders, ICD lead revisions, cardioversions EP cases 1 day/week Patient Ratios: 1:1 Required Certifications: Tech: Required: CVT, BLS, ACLS Preferred: RCIS, RTR-must have Cath lab experience Skills required Tech: Required: Monitor, pan, scrub, sheath pull Preferred: IABP (assist cardiologist with placement), EP, Rotor blade, PFO, knowledgeable in complex cases Support in the Unit: Manager Supervisor Other staff (Techs, nurses) Educator No CRN Bedside tele monitoring Charting System/Equipment: EPIC (preferred) Mac Lab (preferred) Alaris- RNs only Pyxis- RNs only Floating: EP (if experienced) Orientation: 2 days of orientation 1st day: Meet with educator (badge, login access, computer-based learning, compliance check list) 2nd day: on the unit training with preceptor Based on experience and comfort level Other notes: Scrub Color: Provided Parking: Free
