Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a
minimum of 13 weeks of experience using EPIC. The candidate must
have inpatient rehabilitation experience. The role involves working
in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. The aim is to assist
patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain and
spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
The focus of the facility is on helping patients achieve their
highest level of recovery and returning home as soon as possible.
Registered Nurses will work with a patient population including
those with conditions requiring comprehensive rehabilitation
programs. Nurses in this role will manage patient care, including
monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting
with daily activities. Common diagnoses include hypertension, CVA,
Parkinson’s disease, and various post-operative conditions. Skills
in insulin protocols, feeding tube care, and IV initiation are
essential. The position may require working every other weekend.
