Critical Care Medicine/Generalist Anesthesiology Faculty
Position The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative
Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of
Medicine is currently recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible
general anesthesiologist and Critical Care Medicine intensivist to
provide care at Loyola Medicine (Loyola University Medical Center).
There are a wide variety of clinical experiences for the physician
including complex orthopaedic, neurosurgical, obstetrical,
urologic, surgical oncology, and trauma. Care is delivered in a
dynamic and energetic setting with a large group of collaborating
providers including CRNAs and Anesthesiology Residents. Supervision
of trainees from multiple disciplines and clinical teaching of LUC
medical students are an active feature of this practice. Our
Critical Care team follows patients collaboratively with our
cardiac surgeons within our 15-bed Cardiothoracic ICU. Cases are
highly complex ranging from ECMO and LVAD to transplantation and
complicated re-operative cardiac procedures. Faculty rank and
compensation will be commensurate with experience and
qualifications. Applicants should be licensed to practice in the
