Job Description UW Health is seeking a Outpatient Surgical Technologist for a job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday- Friday, 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:40 am – 5:10 pm, rotating one day off each week. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: This position may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are seeking a Surgical Tech to: - Help prepare the operating room prior to surgery, ensure the right instruments and supplies are ready in the room. - Assist the surgeon by anticipating their next move and handing them any instruments that may be needed in order to make the procedure run as smooth and efficient as possible. - Assist with inventory control.
