Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/03/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Perform interventional radiology procedures using radiological technology for minimally invasive techniques /n• Act as first point of contact for referrals and patients /n• Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments /n• Make recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families under interventional radiologist guidance /n• Perform daily rounds and communicate patient progress to medical staff and radiologists /n• Handle heart catheterizations, PCI procedures, IABP insertions, STEMI calls, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases /n• Maintain 30-minute response time for call situations /n• Work 8-10 on-call days per month /n• Weekend schedule to be determined /n• 2 years of catheterization laboratory experience required /n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA) /n• Illinois state license required /n• COVID and flu vaccinations required with no declinations approved /n• Must have experience with interventional radiology cases and cardiac procedures /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a comprehensive catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology department focused on minimally invasive procedures.
