shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating schedule that includes weekends
and holiday coverage (day) Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate:

Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with
policies and state practice acts Document care accurately and
timely to support continuity and quality of care Develop and
initiate individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with
physicians and the care team Participate in unit performance
improvement initiatives and shared governance activities Provide
clinical guidance and expertise to other units or departments as
patient needs require Escalate patient safety concerns and advocate
for excellent patient experience through sound clinical judgment
Engage in peer review and the professional nursing continuum to
help improve clinical practice Qualifications Active Illinois
Registered Nurse (RN) license required BLS, ACLS, and PALS
certifications required NIHSS certification required TNCC or TNS
required (one or the other) Experience as an Emergency Room RN
preferred (the role calls for an experienced ER clinician) Ability
to work rotating weekends and holidays and thrive in a fast-paced
environment Strong communication and interdisciplinary
collaboration skills Knowledge & Skills Emergency care and rapid
patient assessment Medication administration and clinical
documentation Care planning and care coordination across teams
Critical thinking and timely escalation for patient safety Patient
and family education with clear, compassionate communication
Participation in shared governance and peer review processes
