Float Phlebotomist at Labcorp summary: Float Phlebotomist
performs venipuncture and capillary blood collections across
multiple clinic sites, prepares specimens for testing, and
maintains accurate patient and specimen records. The role includes
travel between locations, occasional overtime and Saturday
rotation, processing billing/collections, and providing excellent
patient customer service. Requires high school diploma, prior
phlebotomy experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to work

As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly
gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a
variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. This
unique role will allow you to develop your skills and set you up
for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization. If
you like variety, this role is perfect for you! Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30am (8hr shifts), Saturday rotation
7:00am - 11:30am (Every 4-5 weeks). Float Incentive: Additional
$1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement Work Location: Flexibility to
travel to coverage areas that include Mequon, Menomonee Falls,
Pewaukee, Franklin, Greenfield, Wauwatosa, Brookfield and
Milwaukee. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or
more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits
including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid
Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement
and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees
regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to
participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Employees who are regularly
scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all
the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. For more detailed
information, please click here . Job Responsibilities: Perform
blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all
age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests,
alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an
accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect
payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing
and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide
superior customer service to all patients Administrative and
clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Previous
experience as a phlebotomist is required; 2 years prior experience
preferred. Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving
record with reliable transportation Must be at least 21 years’ old
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to
work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working
under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test If you're looking
