patient health problems and needs within the correctional facility.
Developing and implementing nursing care plans. Maintaining medical
records. Administering nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled
patients. Advising patients on health maintenance and disease
prevention. Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to
improve care processes and outcomes. Keeping abreast of the latest
developments in healthcare specific to the correctional
environment. Strong clinical skills with expertise in patient
assessment. Ability to handle high-stress situations. Proficient in
using medical software and electronic health records. Exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and
problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license
required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
desired. Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP)
certification is a plus.
