Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team, helping us continue our mission of providing integrated healthcare services. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care that supports rehabilitation and recovery processes for our patients. The ideal candidate will exhibit compassion and a deep understanding of patient needs during their recovery, ensuring effective medication management and adherence to healthcare regulations. Assess patient health conditions and recommend appropriate medication treatment plans. Manage and maintain accurate patient medication records. Counsel patients and caregivers on medication management and therapy plans. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in pharmacy operations. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care. Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical care and apply them to practice. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy Excellent communication and counseling skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Detail-oriented and proficient in managing patient records Skilled in using pharmaceutical software and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification is a plus
