Franciscan Ministries, deeply rooted in the values of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about providing compassionate and quality care to the diverse populations we serve in our community-based healthcare facilities. This role requires a committed individual who can support various health care needs while adhering to the highest standards of ethical and respectful treatment of patients. Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients and staff. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate nature Excellent communication and observational skills Ability to follow structured care plans Proficient in maintaining records and handling patient information Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current CNA certification valid in the state of employment. BLS Certification preferred.
