Job Description:
SSM Health, a leading Catholic, not-for-profit health system, is
seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our
Obstetrics (OB) department on a per diem (PRN) basis. You will play
a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients during
some of their most important life events. This position offers a

individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms
and changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate
patient records. Administer medications and assist in procedures as
needed. Advise and support patients and their families on various
health conditions and post-treatment care. Participate in the
development and modification of care plans in conjunction with
other health care professionals. Adhere to protocols and
regulations to ensure effective and compliant patient care.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
(sanitation, decontamination etc.) Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships
with patients, families, and colleagues. Proficient in all
Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record systems.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Active Registered Nurse License in the state of practice. BLS
Certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred. NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) certification strongly preferred.
