Position Summary: The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at
the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board-certified /
board-eligible physician to join our expanding Division of General
Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Academic Hospitalist.?This position
is in Milwaukee, WI, at the Froedtert & MCW Birth Center. We are
comprised of a nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated
group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical
care.? Position Highlights: - Clinical Care: Provide care to both
high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients in a hospitalist role.
Manage emergent gynecologic conditions and perform surgical
procedures, as needed. - Teaching Opportunities: Engage in teaching
and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students actively

Schedule and Locations: - Practice Locations: Froedtert & MCW Birth
Center and Froedtert Emergency Department - Schedule: 12-hour
shifts, totaling 14 per month, with a balanced mix of weeknights,
weekends, and holidays - Employment Type: Salaried (Exempt)
Department/Division Highlights: - Froedtert Hospital serves as a
statewide referral center, providing high-quality care for patients
with a variety of complexity. - Froedtert & MCW features one of the
only Level 4 Obstetrical Units in Wisconsin, directly connected to
the Level 4 NICU at Children’s Wisconsin. - The Generalist Division
includes 16 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers,
delivering care across 12 diverse clinical settings affiliated with
Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Wisconsin, and the Zablocki VA
Medical Center. - Many faculty members hold leadership roles within

Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited
institution. - Board certification in OBGYN specialty - State
medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state
