ProDrivers is seeking experienced and dependable Class A Truck Drivers to join our team, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will possess a Class A CDL and have a proven track record of navigating various route types, adhering to scheduled delivery times while managing delivery paperwork effectively. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods to designated locations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in compliance with company and legal guidelines. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Proficiency in handling heavy truck operations and navigation. Familiarity with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). No serious tickets or accidents in last three years. No DUI/DWI in last five years.
