Parker Hannifin is now hiring--Machine Operators--in Manitowoc, WI!We offer excellent pay ranging from $20.00 - $25.00/hr based on experience.Responsibilities:--- Perform all duties necessary for the efficient operation of all equipment in the plant. Operate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building procedures.--- ------------------Monitor and follow all safety preventative measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines--- Must be capable of following and meeting standard work requirements-----Must be able to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts, obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship sets, etc.-----Promote positive teamwork-----Continue to keep current in skills through training, classes, and on-the-job training-----Must be capable of operating several machines after set-ups have been completed-----Perform all quality checks to include SPC, visual, and total dimensional conformance--- Be accountable for process evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basis-----Must have the ability to operate a bar marker, forklift, chunking saw, and overhead bridge crane (for loading and unloading trucks), along with locating and disbursing raw materials to machines--- Must be capable of identifying various grades and sizes of raw material (bar stock and tubing)-----Be able to verify the weight of brass, which may involve the use of a scale--- Must work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment.----- Must notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities, and activities, that present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk, and report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediatelyQualifications:-----High School diploma or GED-----Equivalent experiencePreferred Skills:-----Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills-----Sound decision-making skills-----Good math, reading, and writing skills-----Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attentionAbilities:-----Basic computer skills--- Vision: Near acuity and accommodation for reading information to perform job tasks--- Requires constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail-----Must be able to read blueprintsApply today!
