Industrial Electrician

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Perform a wide variety of electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment to furnish an uninterrupted flow of power and lighting.
• Maintain operation of electronic devices
• Plan lay out and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes; install switches and controls, central and subsidiary control panels, electronic devices, and other gear incidental to the installation.
• Diagnose and remedy electrical troubles, repair and replace apparatus.
• Work from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and code book; use all required electrical measuring and testing devices.
• Work from a general assignment and complete projects with little or no direction from others
• Implement the company's safety procedures.
• Willing and able to operate Powered Industrial Truck Equipment (scissor lifts, etc.)
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment.
  QUALIFICATIONS :
  
  • State certified Licensed Journeyman Electrician
  • Prefer minimum of five years experience in an industrial environment
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting relay logic and basic PLC problems
  • Must have knowledge of all current local, state and federal codes
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of applied trade practices and techniques
