purpose of this role is to lead the meetings and incentives
operations team in their management of all meetings, incentives,
and events in order to achieve both client and Fox World Travel
(Fox) goals related to account growth, profitability,
customer-service, preferred vendor programs, technology and
industry best practices. This role is also responsible working in
tandem with leadership to ensure effective analysis and development
of inter-departmental initiatives to improve the overall success of
the Fox Meetings and Incentives Team. A day in the life of a
Director - Meetings and Incentives at Fox may include: Leadership
of Meetings and Incentive Operations team – 70% Effectively
managing Fox Meetings & Incentives (FMI) team providing direction
and support related to the achievement of their goals and
objectives. Managing the FMI team delivery of service and solutions
to ensure they are consistent with expectations and developing
standard operating processes. Continually developing the FMI team
by conducting regular performance reviews and ongoing performance
management. Mentoring FMI team in a consultative approach to
introduce and sell value add products, services, programs, or
customization, conveying applicable pricing and managing the
delivery of solutions. Consulting and acting strategically;
evaluating the internal and external business environment from a
big-picture or future-focused perspective. Assisting the FMI team
to achieve internal account service, retention, and growth goals
and external client travel program objectives and requests.
Elevating problems to senior management for assistance.
Facilitating the involvement of Fox shared service departments,
operations, or management to achieve client goals and satisfaction
to maximize performance, efficiency, and productivity. Providing
service feedback as necessary. Providing the FMI team with industry
trends, changes, and best practices; drawing intuitive conclusions
how industry dynamics will impact clients. Providing internal
subject matter expertise and guidance on bids in collaboration with
Business Travel team and/or Proposal team. Maintaining
relationships with service providers – operational and commercial.
Updating knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Working in unison with Meetings & Incentives leadership to provide
consistent and quality service to our clients by leading the team
with similar vision and approach. Account Management – 20%
Performing the role of Account Management to a small portfolio of
key clients to service, retain, and grow their account. Providing
thought leadership, strategic planning, and relationship management
to include: Interacting with the client’s primary travel contact(s)
keeping clients informed of trends and industry updates. Having
regular client contact, through formal reviews and regular
conversations, via both telephone and in-person meetings. Using
data intuitively to understand the account’s travel practices;
identifying opportunities to improve service and innovate the
program. Building multi-level and multi-departmental relationships
within the account; participating in client internal meetings when
possible: credit card, expense reporting, travel policy, accounting
reconciliation. Company Growth – 10% Participating in the sales
process for new and existing business as requested. Participating
and providing input in any new program/product development as
requested. Conceiving, developing, and implementing new services as
opportunities arise. Conducting, coordinating, or participating in
client functions / activities (trade shows, seminars, conventions,
etc.) as necessary. Maintaining a favorable and collaborative
working relationship with co-workers in all departments to foster
an environment of trust and mutual respect. Driving standards and
best practices whenever possible and effectively fostering a
culture of engagement. Enhancing the organization’s reputation by
accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Being
innovative and recommending new approaches, policies, and
procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of
operations and services performed. Other duties, projects and
alternate assignments as determined by business need. Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities This opportunity might be for
you if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Business and Event
Management, Hospitality, Marketing or related field (preferred).
Prior leadership/management experience (required) with the ability
to motivate, inspire and influence direct reports to perform at
peak levels. Minimum five (5) years' experience of meeting or
incentive management or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Experience with Cvent (required). PSA and CRM
experience (strongly preferred). CMP or similar designation
(preferred). Effective time-management skills and ability to work
in a deadline-driven environment, project management experience
highly desired. Advanced working knowledge and proficiency in
Microsoft Office applications, along with strong technical skills.
Ability to communicate with confidence and create a credible
impression to clients, both written and verbal (one-on-one, small
groups, and to large audiences). Ability to develop strong trusting
relationships in order to gain support and achieve results. Strong
creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales
skills. Ability to drive efficiencies and new approaches to
division to streamline processes and generate cost savings.
Domestic and international group travel experience. Willingness and
ability to travel domestically and internationally. Key

Occasional to regular business travel both domestically and
internationally, overnight stays are required. Travel = 25% of

candidates. The estimated base pay range for this position starts
between $85,000 and $90,000 annually, less applicable withholdings
and deductions, and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. The salary range
provided represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal
candidates are likely to expect. We structure our offers within the
range based on location, experience, education, industry knowledge,
technical and communication skills, market conditions, and other
factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
